The Challenge
Commercial baby monitors are expensive, require dedicated hardware, and send data through third-party cloud servers, which raises privacy and security concerns for parents.
Our Approach
Built a phone-to-phone baby monitor using WebRTC for peer-to-peer HD video/audio over local WiFi, TensorFlow Lite with YAMNet for on-device AI cry detection, AES-256 encryption for all streams, and a built-in lullaby player, all running locally with zero cloud involvement.
The Outcome
A privacy-first baby monitoring solution that turns any two phones into a secure monitor with real-time AI cry alerts, HD video, and lullabies. No recurring cost and complete data privacy.
